China's energy supply and demand remain stable in the short term

China's energy development report (2009), published by the Social Sciences Academic Press, pointed out that oil supply will remain stable in the next two years, but will remain bullish in the long term, and its dependence on foreign countries will remain high.

In 2010 and 2015, China's crude oil production is expected to reach 177 million to 198 million tons and 182 million to 200 million tons, respectively, showing a slow upward trend, according to the report. China's crude oil production is expected to be 181 million to 201 million tons in 2020, and will decline year by year thereafter. In general, under the influence of the rapid growth of oil consumption demand and domestic resource restrictions, the development trend of China's crude oil trade is mainly manifested as the increasing dependence on imported crude oil. In 2020, China's dependence on foreign oil will rise to 64.5%.
